Three years ago, Rubye Messiah and her family learned that Rubye had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Her Baylor College of Medicine physician recommended Amazing Place for Rubye to have the advantage of continued interactions with her peers and be involved in activities that would stimulate healthy cognition.

Raya Meyerson is a timeless beauty, brimming with talent, and possessing a compelling way with words. Ernie Meyerson, the love of her life, is one of Amazing Place’s Participants, known for his joyful countenance and his daily thankfulness.

Amazing Place Educational Forum and Luncheon

On Wednesday, October 20th, Amazing Place held our Annual Educational Forum and Luncheon for a "sold out" crowd. Amazing Place holds only one fundraising event a year and this year raised over $200,000 in underwriting and individual tickets sales - a record breaking event for the organization!

Congratulations to TEAM AMAZING PLACE which raised over $7700.00 to support the Alzheimer’s Association at Houston Memory Walk 2010! Memory Walk is the Alzheimer’s Association’s largest, national, fundraising event held each year at many locations in the United States.
