An Amazing Place to Face Dementia

At Amazing Place, our mission is to empower lives disrupted by dementia. Our Day Program enriches the lives of participants on a daily basis, while our Connections Program provides essential knowledge, tools, and support for families, caregivers, health professionals, congregations, and the community at large.

Through our Day Program for adults with mild to moderate dementia, and our Connections Program classes and initiatives, together, we can end the stigma of dementia.

WHAT IS DEMENTIA?

Dementia is not a specific disease. It’s an overall umbrella term describing a wide range of symptoms associated with a gradual decline in memory and other thinking skills severe enough to reduce a person’s ability to perform everyday tasks of daily living. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia.
