IMPROVE YOUR DEMENTIA CARE

Amazing Place shares vital clinical training services with the medical community by partnering with both local universities and home care providers to educate clinicians on the care of older adults with mild to moderate dementia. We feel this is of vital importance to the well-being of this escalating population.

DEMENTIA TRAINING FOR
HOME CARE ASSISTANTS

Our free, 1.5 hour virtual training is designed for home care assistants who are providing dementia care in the home setting. The goal of this program is to provide the knowledge and skills needed to effectively care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. We will address the most common challenges that arise with dementia care including how to manage communication and difficult behavior as well as developing appropriate and meaningful activities for clients. Learning and practicing these skills will result in improved care outcomes for everyone involved.
