OUR DOORS ARE OPEN!

Amazing Place West offers the same excellent services and support the organization has provided to our community for more than two decades.

In addition to our Day Program for those with mild to moderate dementia, our new campus in Katy hosts caregiver classes, support groups and gatherings, and for those interested in dementia prevention, memory preservation and aging well, we offer brain health education presentations, classes and workshops.

We are awaiting the necessary state inspections to open our Day Program at Amazing Place West. To be notified once we receive our license and are conducting tours and assessments, please email Carol Cooper, Amazing Place West Day Program Director. Our free classes and presentations are well underway at the new campus. View Amazing Place West Educational Offerings.

Casey C., ADC, Participant Program Manager

The program team has put their heart and soul into each individual who walked through our
doors. We have welcomed new participants, and we have said goodbye to others. We have had laughter, tears, friendships made, new passions and so much more.

Roger, Day Program Participant 2

Amazing Place is special. Everyone is relatable. We share with each other. And you’re allowed to take your time and effort to say what you have to say.

I was living in social isolation. Now I’m much more socially aware—my world was silent, I was starved.

Gary, Day Program Participant

Bette, Day Program Participant

Coming to Amazing Place has gotten me out of the house. I could sit at home and just watch tv by myself. Here, I get to express myself. I love painting.

Bette, Day Program Participant

Sharon, Day Program participant

It’s hard to do this by yourself. I’m not alone. I’m on the same page with everyone here. You get to voice your opinion. I have a choice in what to do when I’m here.

Sharon, Day Program Participant

Toni, Day Program Participant

It is encouraging to come here. Everyone has their differences, but people pay attention here to who I am and what I want. They listen and if something’s not right, they rectify it.

Toni, Day Program participant
