A GYM FOR THE BRAIN

We believe intellectual curiosity, creativity, and personal growth outlast memory. We design our programs to help our participants diagnosed with mild to moderate dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI), to thrive. We challenge them to reach their highest possible level.

Our Day Program provides creative and cultural arts, civic service, fitness, recreational therapy, pet therapy, off-site excursions, cognitive interventions, and spirituality. Offered on weekdays, our program is always adapting to the various interests and strengths of those who walk through our door.

Our Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) small-group sessions are for those newly-diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment who are seeking interaction to encourage cognition, communication and socialization.

Our Participant Program Director, a licensed activity professional, leads a team of Program Coordinators, including bilingual staff to assist our Spanish-speaking participants. Together, they ensure a day in the life of an Amazing Place participant is truly compelling.
