Just as we share good times with others, we should remember that during tough times there is power and magic in community. Join us as we laugh, share our struggles and learn from one another about dementia caregiver experiences. Informal gatherings hosted by the experts at Amazing Place, Caregivers Connect! is a time for family caregivers to openly talk about common challenges they encounter and to pick up some new caregiver strategies along the way. Held periodically and free-of-charge, each session focuses on a specific topic of interest.

Good Grief!

We identify and validate the types of grief caregivers are experiencing and offer tips on how to ask for and accept comfort. 

"Magic Words"...to decrease dementia resistance

We visit about dementia behaviors and role play positive dialogue and responses.

Dementia Super Symptoms

Questions about at-home medical issues caregivers struggle with are answered along with tips on getting ahead of health surprises.

"I Need a Break!"

Caregivers share creative ways to find respite during daily and long-term care, and get resources for help.
