FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy is an eight-week evidence-based program designed for individuals diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) shown to significantly help those who aren’t quite ready for our Day Program with their memory, language, and orientation abilities.

For those recently diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or MCI.

Each session is one hour, twice weekly. It is best to commit to all eight weeks for a total of 16 sessions.

Individuals participating in Cognitive Stimulation Therapy meet as a small group without those who accompanied them to Amazing Place. Spouses, partners, family members or friends may gather in a separate room where we will provide coffee and refreshments while they wait for their loved one. Oftentimes, they become friends and look forward to gathering each week just as the CST participants do. Since each session is only an hour, we ask that you stay on campus.

Currently, there is not a fee for this eight-week program.
